Benjamine Satin Miniskirt

Let me tell you something! I purchased the skirt three weeks become wearing all because I could not think of how to style it, then I saw my sis in the black hat and black top and I was sold. The night before seeing her review I thought I thought about returning it because I could not style it. The skirt is almost like a tutu, but it is definitely versatile due to all the colors. I decided to pair it with black tube top from Aritzia and black hills. I got the socks from Nordstrom after seeing them on the mannequin. If you were questioning if you should buy the skirt, you should do it. I feel so sexy wearing it. I do feel really good. The zipper is tough, but I feel like it is a non issue for me as my skirt zips fine. I do feel like the fit is smaller because I had to drop a couple of sizes. Overall, I think the skirt is great, it’s a statement piece for sure!

I’m absolutely loving this floral satin multicolor miniskirt! I’m curvy, 5’0”, and weigh 135 lbs, and I got it in a size 6. I’d recommend sizing down for this gorgeous piece. I styled it with high ankle boots, a black tank, and a burgundy mink, and it really stands out! Just a heads-up: since it’s satin, it might snag, but it’s super fun and cute!

I ordered this in both colors. The pink one had blue strings just all pulled , dangling, the hem thread is green and showing thru the pink. It reminded me of a curtain. I actually got stuck in it for a good 10 minutes because the zipper is so bad. Also the clasp is barely hanging on. The tan one also has a terrible zipper, doesn’t go up all the way, I was scared I’d break it. It’s pretty but for the price, absolutely not.

This is a gorgeous print on thick nice material -- the only reason I removed a star is the zipper! It is rough to zip up. Fabric like this requires a more substantial zipper. I initially purchased a size 6 but it was too large in the waist so I sized down to a 4. Now this done stand out -- meaning it looks like a ballerina skirt -- almost like you have a small hoop inside it. I plan to wear it with a bodysuit. I may have the zipper replaced but I am keeping this skirt.
