'Florence' Instasculpt Skinny Jeans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I agree with the other reviews. These are kind of uncomfortable because they are sized so wrong and don't have stretch to them. I unfortunately already wore them because I had packed them without trying on (since all others fit the same) so will just have to wear them on "skinny feeling" days.

I love DL1961 and own several pairs, including two pairs of Florence (one of which is black). My size has always been consistent across the label and I ordered based on that size. Unfortunately these particular jeans are sized incorrectly and the fabric is completely different from my other black pair. They are significantly smaller and have much less stretch than prior Florence instasculpts, including the black cropped pair I have. I couldn't get them over my mid-thigh! I don't have muscular or atheletic legs and like I said I know my size. It's really disappointing. Sadly these are going back and I'll start looking at other brands.

I have 2 pairs of Florences in different shades of blue. I ordered the black Riker in same size but these are so much smaller! Can't even zip them up. The fabric is fabulously soft but if you're ordering them based on size you already have, be forewarned.

If you have muscular legs, order a size UP in these jeans. I have very toned quads and these jeans were tight on my legs. I do, however, feel like they give me a more slender appearance. I did have to alter the inseam to properly fit my short legs, but that is nothing new to me.

I am a dedicated fan of DL1961 and the Florence jeans are my favorite! I have a couple pair, in different washes. The jeans really change according to the wash. The Riker is a black wash with a stretch fabric that has great recovery. They fit mid-rise and really conform to your body without being too tight and showing more than you want. The ankle is not super skinny and fits over booties and shoes as well as tucked in to tall boots. I have worn these jeans every day for a week (!) they still look great. They have stretched a little bit but are so comfortable I can't wear anything else. Washing them in gentle cold and hanging to dry will make them recover all of the original fit. I am 5'8" and 135# and am very comfortable in the 28, although some may size down.
