Top waffle latch won’t hold top plate
Was completely unable to use this product brand-new out of box because of defective latch mechanism on top waffle heating plate.

I love the waffle makers! I have had 2 others except I couldn’t change the plates. That was the sole reason I got this one. The one downside is the storage bins only hold 6 plates

Great waffle maker!
I bought 2 of these sets to make breakfast quicker. They both work very well. No, oiling or greasing them prior to use. They stay no stick no matter how many waffles are made. the plates go in the dishwasher and come out ready to use again. The storage container is wonderful. I wish the empty slot in the compartmant tray had the cut out slots in the styrofoam as well. I have purchased extra plates. (Snoopy set)
