black tie perfection
Bought this dress for a black tie wedding and it was beautiful on. Had it packed in a suitcase for days (destination wedding) and it was not wrinkled so if you need one that travels well, this is a good choice. It’s too long, even with 3.5” heels, would still have needed hemming but that’s because I don’t want a floor sweeper. Alterations put a hook in the back to have that cute bustling that can be unhooked if the mini train was preferred. It has some give, not full on stretch but it’s comfortable and doesn’t require a special bra or anything. Also didn’t feel like it showed as much leg as the photos suggest so it is very modest.

Not my favorite Nordstrom dress...
I ordered this dress for a gala. It was a tighter fit than expected and the seams did not appear well-made.

Loved this dress!
I loved this dress! I thought the style was flattering and I liked the fabric. The size seems to run large - I fit in the size 8 but typically wear a size 10. I really liked the navy color but went with the hunter green because it was a better fit for the wedding colors. It will need to be hemmed but that is expected
