Strapless Satin Gown

This was a beautiful, flattering gown. Comfortable and fit well. I was very disappointed in a couple of things, but I didn’t have time to send back and keep looking. This dress had obviously been returned without anyone checking it. The hem was uneven and someone had marked it to be shortened. I know this because all the white marking pencil lines were still there, which I had to remove. Since it was floor length anyway, I decided to ignore the uneven hem. Additionally, the zipper at the bottom was not sewn correctly and had a hole in the seam below it. Since I can sew, I fixed it, though it didn’t lay very flat due to inaccurate seam widths from manufacturing. Since it was on sale and I knew I would probably only wear this dress one time, I kept it.

My mom tried on so many dresses and this looked stunning on her. We purchased it for my SIL’s wedding which is tmrw. This dress is absolutely gorgeous and showcases her figure beautifully. We purchased it at Nordstrom’s. She will be able to wear it to multiple events. Not sure why it got low reviews; it’s beautiful and my mom says it’s comfortable.
