Bed Head Self Absorbed Shampoo & Conditioner Set

The product that I purchased is not the product I received. I requested the product you see in the photo however received the new Bed Head . I would not have paid what I did for the new Bed Head when I could have purchased it for a lot less. And I will not pay for a return when the mistake was yours.

I bought this for nostalgia. I figured, even if it didn’t “work” for me the way it did 10+ years ago, I would use it every now and again, just for fun. NOPE. It smells completely different. The shampoo might vaguely smell similar, in that it is citrusy, but the conditioner smells terrible. 0/10. It smells kind of like hair dye, without the ammonia somehow, and with ZERO CITRUS scent. Like some salon chemical, with NONE of the tangerine or grapefruit smell that I used to love. And everyone who says the shampoo is watery, is completely understating it. It seriously is so “squirty” coming out of the pump, you wonder why they’d include the pump at all. It kind of shoots out against your hand, and bounces off. BEYOND watery. If you decide to buy this after reading this review, fine. Be super careful where you unwrap this, because chances are the pumps aren’t on tight, and you won’t notice the shampoo leaked in the cellophane until you take the tightly wrapped/taped bubble wrap off. Such a mess. No wonder there are no returns on this product! I’m not that picky, but this would go straight back.
