Maddie Water Resistant Bootie (Women)

Based on photos, I almost didn’t order these until I noticed the names of the colors after reading a review that said the wrong color was sent. Whiskey, as the name suggests correctly describes the color of these boots but the photos are completely misleading by showing off white/bone color boots. The boots are far from white. The color is actually similar to Chestnut Uggs. They are a gorgeous medium brown shade and exactly what I was hoping for. That being said, the sizing is a bit weird. I am usually a 6-6.5, medium width, and found 6.5 in these way too big. The size 6 fits better but my heel still slips in the back. (I don’t think I could go any smaller.) In addition, they are not as comfortable as I would have hoped for the price. They feel like you are walking on a flat, slightly padded surface. The heel doesn’t feel even slightly elevated from the toe. There is very little support and not a lot of cushioning. However, I don’t think I can get myself to return them. I absolutely love the chic, effortless style and color.

I found these at Nordstrom Rack and thought that I had found the ultimate 'find' - they fit perfect or at least I thought so and I'm pretty picky when it comes to shoes. Decided to wear them and got blisters on both feet - ugh. Now not sure what I will do since the return window has closed. I wear a 10 and bought a 10. So disappointing and painful.

I was shocked to see these booties are nothing like the color in the photo. They are tan or light brown, not even close to ivory, beige or off-white. I checked the Aquatalia website to see if they have this color boot and they do not. Other than this, the bootie is comfortable and very good quality. It was bigger than expected.
