beautiful layering piece
I honestly wasn’t sure if this would be a keeper when I ordered it but it worked out to be perfect for wearing under open cardigans. The fabric is a little rough but it isn’t uncomfortable against the skin or overly sheer (which is a huge plus for an ivory shell). It is definitely not a true white. I’m 5’5” with a long torso and it sits just above my true waist. Great with high rise bottoms and could work with some mid rise as well. It has a lovely vintage, bohemian vibe and the peplum is subtle but adds dimension. It completely hid my bra straps on my shoulders and the band under my arms so it can be worn as a standalone top during warm weather. I’m usually a 4-8 in tops (S or M) and 34E I opted for a size 8 just in case it was snug across that bust and it fits perfect.
