Poor quality, will have to replace
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own this shoe in several styles and love it. This time received poor quality shoes. Right interior rim between the last and upper is poorly constructed and has a large defect resulting in an obvious bulge of the rim.

I want to love the shoes but...
I have owned many pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes and love the brand. However, my experience with the Strandmok Cap Toe Oxford style from Nordstrom Rack has been disappointing. The first pair I purchased had a blemish on the right shoe, resembling a bald spot. When I called the online support, I was informed that there is no exchange policy and that I must purchase a new pair and return the defective one, for which I have not received a return label yet. A second pair arrived early, but the left shoe's color did not match the right; it was slightly darker. Overall, the quality of these shoes has been subpar, and I now have two pairs to return.

Right shoe - inside sole is offset. Left shoe - has a blemish that looks like a bald spot, see pics.

First but not last Strandmok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first pair of strandmok. The 13 EEE fit like a glove just like it does with the Park and Fifth line. Quality was top notch. Suede was soft and comfortable, and the color was on point. Another win for AE.

From the classic Strand profile, the color (Denim) and contrasting welt make them stand out in a great way. the Dainite soles afford traction, durability and comfort. The craftsmanship is quintessential Allen Edmonds fresh from Wisconsin quality. All of these things make for a very versatile shoe, one that is at home as casual or more dressed up and ready for good or inclement weather. Once again, AE hits the mark.!
