Damien Fisherman Sandal

I only wore these for less than 20 minutes whilst taking my dog for a morning walk on a flat, paved service (first time wearing them). Got home and noticed multiple bloody blisters from the straps rubbing. Wish I had purchased these at Nordstrom (mother ship) as I could have returned them - not so much at the Rack. I shall be buying Tevas instead.

Although they were heavier than I expected, I liked the look and the fit. I expected the ankle straps buckles might bother me, but they didn’t. Then after wearing them a bit around the house, I wore them for a full morning and by the end, one of the ankle straps was nearly halfway ripped. I’ve worn Birkenstocks for five years and not had an ankle strap rip. Disappointed, and back to Birkenstocks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reviewing for appearance and design and not comfort or disability. It's the middle of winter, and I've only worn these sandals for a few minutes. These sandals are very attractive, and the combination of the suede uppers combined with the white sole make for a relaxed but elevated casual look, especially compared to the leather uppers. The sandals strike a good balance between softness and supportive. With the heel strap, I'm hopeful that they'll last an entire day without causing any discomfort, but it's too soon to know.
