Chapman Wingtip Boot (Men)

I've had a pair for a year now. They're amazingly solid and well made, probably the highest quality boots I've ever owned. The downside is that the heavy construction required a lot of time for break in. I use mine solely for outdoor recreation. They're simply too heavy for long distance hiking or mountain climbing use, but out in tough field conditions they're incredibly capable. The wingtip style is definitely something different for outdoor usage, but I've come to like it a lot. And, as a longtime Allen Edmonds customer, I know recrafting will be there to keep them going for many years to come.

I have had these boots for about three months. The break-in was easy. I own 11 pair of Allen Edmond shoes, dress and casual, but this is my first pair of A.E. Boots. I like the fact that they are made in the U.S.A. All of my A.E. purchases have been U.S. made. They are very well made and incredibly comfortable. I bought them a size larger than I normally get in their shoes, because I’m using them with thicker hiking socks, as opposed to dress socks, and that turned out to be a perfect. I expect to get many years of good use out of them. They are at home in the field or with jeans in town. They provide all day comfort.
