gorgeous dress- long waisted
This is a beautiful and heavy dress that drapes gorgeously. I am long waisted so it fits well. I do agree the zipper was a different color than pictured- but I loved the structure of the dress enough to keep it. Will definitely get many wears out of it— especially in DC area.

I gave the dress a one star for the bright red color. This dress is ridiculous. It is so heavy that I think you would get exhausted wearing it for very long. Terrible length, ugly zipper, not made for anyone under six foot two. I was very disappointed.

Flawed design and not exactly as pictured
Pros: this dress is a stunning rich red color, beautiful skirt construction with plenty of volume and super fun pockets. Cons: see that funky edgey silver zipper? It's not silver at all but rather plain copperish metal like you'd see on some levi jeans. The zipper also does not lie flat and kind of gaps around waist curves, if you have them like I do. I did bring it in to Nordstrom for alterations since I'm 5'2" and was hoping for that ankle length in the pictures. The seamstress brought it up in the shoulders a bit not wanting to alter the hem due to the underskirt. Still comes to full length not showing my shoes at all. Pretty dress but I'm disappointed in the overall fit.
