Maeve Midi Dress

So angry I just bought this. I forgot to look at the material section as I usually do for some reason it slipped my mind because I have been watching this dress and usually this company has very good fabric content but for the price I just paid for this dress I’m an absolute shock. It’s 100% polyester this dress is worth literally $15. What are you doing? Nordstrom Rack? This is scamming horrible. I can’t believe a company would do this. I’m sick of it. I’m sick of seeing it. It’s disgusting and you guys know it. What a waste of such an amazing design. Fit is great, but quality does not equate to the price so I will be returning.

I ordered size small in the green pink combo. It was comfy, lightweight, and pretty! The dress earned compliments right and left. At 5'3 with flats, it ran longer than shown on the model. The flowy maxi look still worked perfectly for spinning on the dance floor. I'm an XS in most brands, but between XS-S in ASTR. Small was fine. Overall, a very forgiving, pretty, easy dress!

I ordered the lavender multi floral dress for a garden party. The pattern is beautiful! I was worried that because it is not lined it would be seethrough, but the fabric is thick enough and the pleats are so numerous, there is no need for a lining. I wear a size 2 dress, with broad shoulders and just out of training bra boobs, and I am waffling on whether or not I want to go through the effort of sewing in cups or just go commando up top. The pleats there camoflage a lot as well! The band under the bust does a nice job of making a waist and, once again because of the pleats, I won't have to suck my stomach in all night after eating and drinking to my heart's content.

I love this dress! The color pattern was exactly as expected- and the fit was incredible. Dress is also lightweight and soft. I received so many compliments. It was perfect for a spring wedding. I felt great all night- but of course that means I didn’t get a full length picture! I have been typically wearing a size small, but purchased a medium because of my bust size (approx 34G) based on the size guide. I wore this without a bra! The structure in the front was enough to be supportive and feel secure without flattering. The back does have stretch, so I think I may have been more comfortable in a small- I did have moments where it was worried about spillage. At 5’1 this came right above my ankles, which is the length I was expecting. The pleats did flatten a bit during the course of the night from sitting- but I don’t think it was particularly noticeable. Would definitely buy again!
