Beaded V-Neck Gown

The dress runs in numbers, but they make you order in small, medium etc. without specifying what sizes are considered as a small, medium etc. so you basically just have to hope your making the proper guess. The dress itself is beautiful, the material is very stretchy, so I would recommend sizing down if you want it fitted to your curves and not dragging the floor. I ordered a size 8, and the dress fits matronly, not a very sexy fit. I’m returning to size down.

This gown is stunning. Just as pictured. I got it for my son’s wedding in March. The adjustable straps are very helpful. The dress is long - even with 3 inch heels I will need to get it hemmed. I’m almost 5’5, 120 lbs, the medium fit like a glove- and there is no “give” or stretch, but for me that is ok.

The dress is beautiful and well finished. It a little heavy because of the embellishment but that's also what gives it an expensive look! I'm kind of an M/L right now and the dress in size M fits comfortably - so if you want a tighter, sexier fit, and you're usually on the verge of two sizes - I would go down a size. The weak point in my opinion is the straps - they are made out of the same material as the dress but it happens to be quite rough. They are thin, so if you have any significant boobs at all (I'm in the C/D/DD range) - and there's weight of the dress+your boobs on the straps, they start hurting really quickly. I had the dress on for 15-20mins and already had red streaks on my shoulders. I know I can't do a whole evening like that so I have to return it. I suppose you could fix this problem by buying a bra strap ribbon and underlining the dress straps with it, but I think I can find a better fit and not have to do any sewing. If you have small perky boobs I think you should be fine!
