wanted to love
This dress is a tad bit tight on my figure. I did order the dark navy color and I hope the XL will fit better. I am in the middle of loosing a lot of weight but it’s hot where I live and I want to try to find at least one cute tennis dress for the gym and rest of summer. Where I live it stays hot until October. If I loose another 5 lbs which I will it would fit better. I am only returning this light teal color due to it showing more of my fat. Darker colors don’t and hide much more lol. I do recommend sizing up. I am a true 12 and L but o had to get an XL in this particular dress. Iv lost 12 lbs but my goal is 38 more to go!

Snug on top, runs a tiny bit small
This is a pretty tennis dress that is not too low-cut and not too short, but still cute. The bodice/torso is fairly snug. As a XS/XXS, the XS was pretty much skin tight on me. I am most likely keeping it as I like that the gathered skirt provides more coverage than many other similar dresses out there, but keep in mind top (in the teal) is snug, and I am not large chested. Overall, a great summer basic with built in shorts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this dress a lot and found it to be comfortable and flattering! I miss the days when Zella consistently carried XXS in all of their pieces. I actually stopped buying this brand due to being sized out. But I took a chance on this dress and I'm glad that I did. While I could still benefit from an XXS, the XS was a great fit. I got more length out of it than shown on the model (I'm 5ft). I love that the shorts have an opening in the back so I don't have to pull the dress all the way down to go to the bathroom. The fabric is super soft!

Cute fits a smidge big
Super cute and form fitting! I am 5’6” 180 muscular build. The the large fit well but could be a little tighter, I would assume the medium would be way too tight.

flattering and functional!!!
I own quite a few tennis dresses, but this one is absolutely perfect. I loved it so much in navy that I went back and bought it in black too. It’s the perfect length for me, which is a big deal since I’m 6’0”. Plus, the shorts are only attached at the front of the waistband, so you don’t have to completely undress to use the restroom.
