Uptown Hybrid Penny Loafer (Women)

This is a beautiful loafer with soft leather (love the suede upper) and great arch support and I love the fact that it is lightweight and easily packed in a suitcase as I travel a fair amount. Unfortunately, it does not work with my foot type: wide toe box and narrow heel. I measure as an 8 1/2 and that's the size I bought, but my toes came to the top without socks. I found the toe box to be narrow as well. I am somewhere between an 8 1/2 and 9. If I were to size up to a 9, it would not work for me, either as my heel definitely wouldn't stay in place. I find it difficult to get the correct fit in Vionic shoes. I would like to see wider toe boxes on their shoes as I have bunions. I do appreciate the arch support and their stylish options, but obviously slip-ons won't work for me. Sadly, I will return them.

This is a comfortable and stylish shoe, but I wish I'd gone a half or whole size down. One shoe ended up being significantly larger than the other, leading me to have to stuff it or wear socks with it. A shame, because I really like this shoe and want to wear it more often, but it needs some modifications before I can do so
