Uptown Hybrid Penny Loafer (Women)

This is a beautiful loafer with soft leather (love the suede upper) and great arch support and I love the fact that it is lightweight and easily packed in a suitcase as I travel a fair amount. Unfortunately, it does not work with my foot type: wide toe box and narrow heel. I measure as an 8 1/2 and that's the size I bought, but my toes came to the top without socks. I found the toe box to be narrow as well. I am somewhere between an 8 1/2 and 9. If I were to size up to a 9, it would not work for me, either as my heel definitely wouldn't stay in place. I find it difficult to get the correct fit in Vionic shoes. I would like to see wider toe boxes on their shoes as I have bunions. I do appreciate the arch support and their stylish options, but obviously slip-ons won't work for me. Sadly, I will return them.

I own a few pair of the Uptown loafers in several colors. They are simply one the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I’ve suffered with plantar fasciitis for many years and now only wear Vionic shoes, mostly the Uptown loafers. They are still looking great every many wearings. I appreciate the quality of Vionic shoes!
