Front Seam Leggings

Where do I begin, these are my favorite Vince pants. The material is stretchy yet has stucture, even the waist; I don't even bother with the side zipper, I pull them on and off as the waist stretches, but nice thing is these pants retain the structured shape. Easy to transition these to work, out on casual weekends, and you can easily elevate them in the evenings with a dressier shoe and top. I have every color in a size 1x and 2x....depending how the wind blows I'm in between sizes. The 1x of course is much more fitted and slimming, the 2x is still slimming but gives me room to move and breathe. I also have gotten creative with these and had my tailor alter the lower legs a bit...one I cropped just a bit more for summer and sneaks, and the other had the taper catch a little straighter on the calf while leaving the same width leg opening, and they turned out very cute. I did the same with the cropped flare style if you know that one. This purchase is the dark gray...I hesitated at first, I'm not crazy about gray, but for the clearance price and knowing how they fit, I knew I couldn't go wrong. Suprisingly, the dark gray has a bit of a blueish hue to them, I think, very subtle. Kind of reminds me of Vince's "dark water" color. It's a really unique gray and will be nice to pair with just about any color cashmere sweater on top. I'm glad I got these...if you're skeptical, take the plunge, you'll like them too. And this style is a staple for Vince, so you'll see them again every season in different colors.

I hated that I loved these as much as I did because they cost more than I wanted to spend. After trying on several similiar styles though, I found these to be the best looking with a very flattering fit. I dressed them up with a nice blouse, sweater vest and heels, but can see how they can also cross over to more casual looks as well. The fit is great and true to size and they have a luxe feel - not your average legging. And did I mention how flattering they are? I'm a 14w and 1x was perfect.
