Cotton Button-Up Shirt

I like the idea of button up shirts, but rarely find them comfortable; this shirt is different. It is a very lightweight cotton and, to me, it feels wonderful on. The material is thin, but a nude bra underneath doesnt show due to the roomy fit. I bought it is my regular size (medium), but the small also fit (it all depends on the look you're going for). I'm very pleased I found this - it doesn't look like anything special on the hanger, but it looks great on - soft but with some structure.

On the hanger, I was not sure about the shirt, but I decided to try it on anyway, and I’m so glad I did. The fabric is so soft, and the fit is very unique (not so basic button up) and will never go out of style. The shirt runs slightly oversized in nature so I would say it fits true to size. I decided to buy it in the blue color, which will go great with denim - both blue and white. A little on the pricey side for Nordstrom‘s rack, but worth every penny. I would say that this may not look as good on someone under 5’3, as my mom also tried it on (who is petite) and it did not do her justice.

This all cotton though still pricy at 1/2 off is worth every penny just for the fabric. It's difficult to even find a ladies collared top in this quality of cotton. Found the white at the store and ordered the glacier before leaving the store. Fit is TTS--an XL normally fit (for pear shape) perfectly, but I will say if you are slender through the hips you might size down one size since there's plenty of room through the shoulders. So nice to find a plain (no patch pockets!) cotton shirt. The slits go high but there is plenty of length both front and back.
