Cotton Button-Up Shirt

I like the idea of button up shirts, but rarely find them comfortable; this shirt is different. It is a very lightweight cotton and, to me, it feels wonderful on. The material is thin, but a nude bra underneath doesnt show due to the roomy fit. I bought it is my regular size (medium), but the small also fit (it all depends on the look you're going for). I'm very pleased I found this - it doesn't look like anything special on the hanger, but it looks great on - soft but with some structure.

On the hanger, I was not sure about the shirt, but I decided to try it on anyway, and I’m so glad I did. The fabric is so soft, and the fit is very unique (not so basic button up) and will never go out of style. The shirt runs slightly oversized in nature so I would say it fits true to size. I decided to buy it in the blue color, which will go great with denim - both blue and white. A little on the pricey side for Nordstrom‘s rack, but worth every penny. I would say that this may not look as good on someone under 5’3, as my mom also tried it on (who is petite) and it did not do her justice.

Vince is one of my favorite brands and when this blouse went on sale, I took advantage of the sale to purchase what I expected to be the quality Vince is known for. Unfortunately, the fabric is thin. the buttons are more yellow than white, and the overall size is very large. I ordered a small and it’s more suited for a bathing suit cover up than a blouse I would wear alone or even under a sweater, Disappointing - considering the brand and the price-point.
