Metallic Knit Long Sleeve Dress

I bought this with another Vince Camuto bodycon dress and essentially, they are the same dress with different fabric. The other is a perfect fit while this one does bunch a little around my thighs, which are my widest part. Overall, should be fine with control top hose though. Unlike some metallic threaded fabrics, this is actually quite soft and the look is flattering. I could have gone up a size but I can work with it (normally between 14 and 16). Perfect for a slightly fancy wedding in colder months (Minneapolis in March!). One thing though, the overlay of the dress is a loose weave and my necklace got stuck in it while trying it on and it was hard to get it out without pulling a thread. Will wear with rounded jewelry because it's going to grab anything with a point.

I had this dress in my saved for later list for a while and then it went on final clearance to $25. I went to my local Rack and found it there so I could try it on first and they only had a 6 but it looked my size so I tried it on. Surprisingly the 6 fit pretty well and wasn’t too large despite my usually wearing a 0. I think it was because this is a dress with some stretch to it and I think it would look great on someone that’s a 6 or someone who is a 0 but didn’t want a tight dress. I was looking for a long sleeve cocktail dress for a company meeting so I got it just in case the one I ordered in my usual size 0 didn’t get to me in time. When my size 0 got to me that was an even more flattering fit and I wore that one to my event. I don’t regret getting both just in case and it’s nice to know I’ll have an option in case my size ever goes up a bit. The dress is very classy and flattering and even though it’s a body con dress - it’s lined so it doesn’t show any unflattering areas. It has a subtle silver metallic thread throughout the navy blue fabric and it’s really stunning. I paired it with a silver strappy heel and got tons of compliments. It was very classy and I still looked hot while still being appropriate for work. Now I see it went down to $15 - lol. If it’s still in stock snap it up! This is an amazing dress!!! I’m almost tempted to buy another as a back up!!
