I do not know why people are saying to size down, that is incorrect! I wear a 9 so I listened to the reviews, bought 8.5 and had to send them back. I even bought a 2nd 8.5 to make sure the first pair wasn't irregular. So go with your true size please or your feet will be killing you. I had no break in period because I went with my true size. I am buying my second pair rn because I LOVE these loafers!
