Cecile Croc Embossed Knee High Boot (Women)

I don’t understand why these boots received so many negative reviews—they are absolutely stunning! As someone with wide calves, I know how difficult it is to find boots that are both stylish and comfortable. These are the ones. I initially ordered the reddish color in size 9.5 (wide calf), but didn’t love the color, so I exchanged them for black in size 9 (also wide calf). The fit is perfect, and they look so polished and chic. Highly recommend for anyone with wider calves who still wants a sleek, fashionable boot.

I purchased these right before the winter and they are my favorite Nordstrom rack find. I purchased the wide and they are very wide much wider than I expected. However, the finish and the material is great and they’re very comfortable. If you like them, I highly recommend purchasing, especially at this low price.

I have real croc boots but I still like the Cecile boots because the red/brown Sepia color is so unique!. The color caught my eye as I walked through Nordstrom! I have a smaller calf circumference and the Cecile boot has size options for small and large calf sizes. I will say the embossing on the calf/leg portion is better than the embossing on the foot portion of the boot. Despite loving the color I would not have purchased the boot for the $795 regular price. I can purchase a cowboy style boot with real croc /caiman for $895. The 50% off price I paid was just right. Runs true to size. I always utilize a shoe stretcher to break in my shoes and boots before I wear them.

These boots are gorgeous. However, if you're on the petite side, they'll be a bit too tall and hit the back of your knee. Haven't decided if that means they're getting returned yet, but for the price it's worth considering. Also, they're tighter around the calves and loose at the ankles meaning they kind of gather at the ankles and there isn't a lot of room for pants or thicker socks at the calves. I have relatively average calves so if you don't this is something to consider as well.
