Goldenglow Platform Slide Sandal (Women)

i wanted to love these bc they’re sooo cute but i should have returned them right away instead of trying to make them fit. first off the strap nearest to the ankle was way too close and made walking unbearable so i ended up swapping it with the second strap to give myself more room to move. walking around is slow going bc they’re so wide and poofy that you can’t get very much lift with each step, it’s like walking on an inflatable surface. then i began to notice how the cushioning in the heel caused the sole to tilt upwards, with my heels much lower than my toes and forcing a very unnatural gait. I wore these around the block to try to break them in and ended up throwing out my knee and not walking right for two days. truly just poorly designed, why would they not account for the extra weight at the heel with a lower toe like every other platform shoe ever?? such a shame bc i think they look so cute but i simply can’t wear them when they’re this painful
