Suede Trucker Jacket

After reading the reviews, I bought both xs and xxs. The xs is definitely oversized and boxy in an unflattering way. However, the smaller size xxs is very cute and has the current suede jacket trend vibe. The size really matters because the slimmer fit makes the style look more upscale and international, while the looser fit appears cheap. The color is more of a mauve chocolate and a bit dull, so I took a star off, but I can still work with it by pairing it with other fall colors. The leather is very soft and overall good quality. Overall, its $75 so why not add it to the wardrobe!?

I generally fit in a size 10 and ordered this in a medium. It fit pretty large on me and was very unflattering, boxy in the waist and the puffy sleeves make me look like a linebacker. I ordered a size down to a small and even though it fits better, it’s still unflattering. I’m 5’2” and it hits at an awkward part of the waist and the sleeves are too long. The puffs at the shoulders still look bad. My general rec would be to size down. The suede itself is very pretty and soft, although it’s a fairly thin suede.

I was so excited about this jacket bc it looks so cute on the model. However in person, it was super unflattering. The dropped shoulders with rouching was a very conflicting design choice and did not make sense and made the shoulders look very bulky. The torso area fit small. Overall a fail.
