Suede Bomber Jacket

The jacket is very well made. The color is slightly different—more brown than terracotta. I went one size up and it was the right choice; it looks like an oversized bomber. The suede feels very soft to the touch, but I think I’ll need to be careful around sharp edges. Overall, the jacket is a delight.

This is a beautiful jacket with what feels like heirloom quality construction. The suede has a buttery softness and the neck and waist shape and material help it stay close to my body without bunching at the hips or neck because the knit edge has a little stretch and give. A button at the top and bottom of the zipper keep the jacket firmly closed and the wind break strip of leather is sure to keep me cozy and secure on blustery days. The straight sleeve has a stitched seam at the albow to help it bend. I can cross my arms in this jacket without getting that tightness across the shoulder blades or limited movement that I’ve experienced with other leather jackets. I’m glad I didn’t size down, though it runs a tad big, because now it has the roominess I’d like in a jacket that will be worn over clothing. The hardware is robust and sturdy. It’s not the most flashy design, but I think it will be versatile to dress up or down and be a timeless edition to my wardrobe. I plan to have this jacket for many years to come.
