Darcy Flat Loafer (Women)

I ordered these in the Buck Brown color. The box and tag on the shoes are labeled Buck Brown but there is nothing brown about these shoes! Like not even a little! I sized up a half size because Toms are always a little small. The size is okay, maybe slightly large, but they are quite comfortable. I don’t hate the color but this is definitely not the color I ordered.

The color, the fit, the style—all are great. But the first pair I purchased were falling apart within two hours of putting them on. The right heel totally separated from the body, leaving me with flapping soles. I loved the look and feel of the shoes, so I returned that pair and repurchased. By the end of the first day wearing the second pair the same issue arose. Had to return those as well. It’s really too bad, I loved everything else about these shoes!

Super cute and classy. I absolutely loved the style, fit like a glove around my feet. It’s true to size. They have a cute detailing on the back. However, this is where my slight disappointment comes in. They began to hurt the bottom of my foot as I walked, for maybe 20-30 mins. I’m going to try to wear thin socks with them perhaps it’ll help I would hate to return these but it was very painful to walk on after sometime the bottom off my foot felt stiff and swollen if that makes sense. And TOMS are meant to be comfortable. I’ve been a longtime TOMS fan I’ve got a few of the original pairs, to find style and comfort felt like a win until it wasn’t.
