After far too many purchases and returns than I care to admit over the past 6 months, I have FINALLY found my PERFECT JEAN - frame Borrowed mid rise specifically in escape. It’s a sturdy Jean that holds its shape, loosening only slightly over 7+ wears. They’re a perfect shade to dress up with button up or down with a sweatshirt. They’re remain fairly fitted in the waist and hips to look perfect in the rear while loosening up in the thighs, knees and calves just enough to be slimming without baggy. I’m obsessed. I also bought these in the darker blue shade. They’re definitely different - stretchy and not as wow but I will keep them as an option to wear when something darker is required.

Heavy denim
The denim is heavy and thick and why do all jeans smell so bad?! Awful. These did not fit well and felt borderline high rise rather than mid rise.

Good fit for narrower hips
They fit me because I have a straighter shape — hips are narrow . They have washed well. Not much stretching out during the day.

Definitely dont fit like boyfriend cut
These fit more like a straight leg, high waisted jean but I would not call them boyfriend cut. Also they smell weird like cheap factory dye.

Not my def of Mid Rise
The high-rise jean trend has been frustrating for me as a shorter-waisted person. When I saw "mid rise" label on these for the anniversary sale I ordered them. I have several mid-rise Frame jeans in other styles, but for me, these THE BORROWED fit high rise, which was disappointing because otherwise the color and length were great. Sadly returning.

great but stretch out
Fit perfectly and very flattering out of the package. Sit down twice and they start growing. Especially butt and knees. So tired of jeans bagging out because of the spandex.
