Love love LOVE

Full disclosure: I'm a total cashmere snob. Have a large collection of 5 or 7-ply $400-$500+ gorgeous sweaters that now, after losing 50 pounds, are mostly comically huge on me (or oversized and chic? Fingers crossed). Point is, I grabbed a few sweaters out of desperation and not expecting much--just needing a cashmere fix that actually FIT me but not willing to pay up the wazoo since I'm still in the midst of my weight loss journey. THIS sweater is fantastic--especially for a department store brand (no offense Nordstrom, love you, kiss kiss!). Yes, it's thin. It's 2-ply. 2-ply sweaters are thin. Yes, it pills. A thousand dollar cashmere sweater will also pill. That's what cashmere does. Get a sweater shaver or comb. But it also is not the least bit itchy, it's soft as a baby goat's belly, and it's super cozy and cute! Boxy, but with slim sleeves. To compare, the "classic" fit crew neck in same size is 21" wide (ptp) and 25" long--this hoodie is 24x24. I'm currently 160 and 36B/C at 5'8" and the large is oversized. I could've gone with a medium but it would be too short for my liking. Bottom line: I find myself reaching for it again and again, and would happily pay full non-Rack price for this. Prolly gonna get another one right now, in fact.

Softer than any cashmere I've owned before

I won't be keeping this because it doesn't fit my body type, but it does look exactly like the photos and is very soft. I wear PL, and the sleeves are 5 inches too long on me. You can see on the photo that the sleeves are long on the model as well. The torso is long also. I would say that since this is a looser silhouette, order a size down from what your normal "fitted" size is. Also, the sleeves are almost a drop sleeve but not quite. They are sewn a little funny (drop shoulder seam), but I guess it matches the sweatshirt hoodie look that they are going for.

SUPER SOFT

Glad to have purchased this hoodie. It was super soft, and I purchased the color I wanted; camel. It's light weight but perfect for autumn days. I'm 140 lbs and 34C, size small fits right for me. If you like to layer this with something underneath, maybe size up. I like my sweater fitted but not tight. Nordstrom had something similar during their anniversary sale, but by the time I wanted to purchase it, they were all gone. So, happy to have gotten this one at a lower price!

Pills and Hair All Over

I received the sweater today and it is covered with pills and looks like someone used a pill remover on it. I have a couple I bought in the store and they do not look like this. It was also had a lot of animal white hair.

not great

I thought that this would be like the one I bought during the Nordstroms Anniversary sale but it isn’t. That one fit perfectly and was thicker. I’m returning this one and will hope the Nordstroms one goes on sale at some point as the Anniversary sale ones sold out almost immediately. A bit disappointing

Very nice sweater

This is a great sweater. In my opinion, the fit is a bit small. I have been sizing down to a medium in most of my sweaters, but for some reason, I ordered this in a large and it fits perfectly. Not too baggy.

Not a layering item too thin for more

I ordered the XS my usual size but returned it for XXS thinking it would be less boxy. The size difference was barely noticeable.The best thing about this hoodie for me was the beautiful camel color, and the softness. I like that Nordstrom usually has great color depiction. You get what you see for color. The cashmere in this is thin but very soft. I’d say it’s thicker than 2 ply but not by much. As for pilling that others mention, this is normal for cashmere -the softer the wool the more the pilling. I’m not sure that a hoodie in cashmere is a good design idea. For me, I buy cashmere to wear next to my skin as I’m allergic to other wools and it is so warm. But this hoodie is too wide and boxy to fit snug for layering yet not warm enough for wear alone in winter and I don’t want a hoodie for summer weather. I wanted to wear it under a non hooded sweatshirt for extra warmth in winter. But it’s too bulky at the sides for that on me. One more important thing. The hood barely covered my head. It sits only just to my forehead so it is a very small sized hood and I have a small head! I did like the longer sleeve length and the color is like caramel so pretty. Anyway this wasn’t a design that worked for me.

I received this sweater the security tag was still attached and there were numerous holes in it. Looks like moth holes. This is unacceptable

Waste of money

I bought 2 of these hoodies and was super excited to get them - super soft and a little oversized. On the first wearing, the pills appeared within the first hour. They both looked so bad after each wearing they had to be shaved before wearing again. After a couple months, they have so many holes I can only wear them around the house
