The Teva brand was born in 1984 in the Grand Canyon, when a river guide rigged two Velcro watchbands to an old pair of flip-flops to create a shoe that wouldn't float away. I love the sleek look of this sandal especially when traveling, it is very comfortable and light and elongates your legs in a really cool way because the tan color just blends in so well with your skin if you are tan.

POOR QUALITY
I did not want to believe other reviews because I love Teva. But, these broke on the third day of my trip with only light wear. Terrible. Teva also did not respond to my two requests regarding getting this addressed with their warranty despite email and chat. Terrible x2. I rarely leave reviews. But, this left a terrible taste in my mouth.

Replaced my dressy brown heeled sandals
Low heel, dark brown 'Rum Raisin' sandal size 10 which will replace my dressy brown heeled sandals. Heels don't work for me anymore - 65 yrs w/ hip issues. Easy to put on & adjust the Velcro. Looked at similar slim brown leather 'Acorn' color that doesn't display the TEVA tag so noticeably. But all the leather versions have light beige rubber between the sole & footbed which will easily get filthy & require more care. Snipped off the jarring black/orange TEVA tag and sanded the footbed as another suggested.

Inconsistent Designs
Sole is super comfortable and love the design, unfortunately the straps are all inserted without measurement - possibly all designed by hand. The left back strap was inserted into the sole a few centimeters more inward than the right, so my back heel steps directly on the strap each and every time making it incredibly uncomfortable to walk in. I can see this creating a blister if worn for more than 30 mins. Unfortunately I had to return.
