The Teva brand was born in 1984 in the Grand Canyon, when a river guide rigged two Velcro watchbands to an old pair of flip-flops to create a shoe that wouldn't float away. Very wide and straps are uncomfortable
I so wanted these sandals to work - I liked the narrow leather straps, the Birch color was perfect, and the footbed was cushiony with a bit of arch support. They are like up-scaled flip-flops to me. But note that they are VERY wide - when fitting the straps to my foot, the ends hung beyond the edges of the footbed. Even worse, the stitching on the underside of the straps is very rough, and I started a blister on my pinkie toe within 5 minutes of wearing them. I'm so disappointed to have to return these.

Comfy, versatile
A bit less “industrial” than your traditional teva sandals thanks to the thin leather straps. Definitely run large compared to their other models (I’m normally a 9 and definitely the 8 fit!). Foot bed is pretty “squishy” which is comfy but may not lead to a lot of durability. Still good for the price - and nice to be able to have some sandals that are good for long term comfort without necessarily looking like it.

Perfect for vacation
I purchased these for my daughter before she went on a 3 week vacation in Southeast Asia. They were super comfortable , held up great and fashionable. I’m going to purchase a pair for myself now.
