Just what I wanted
I bought the walnut in 9.5, which is my regular size, and it fits perfect- true to size. They are a flexible and softer boot with plenty of room in the ankle (looser in ankle), but fairly fitted on my calf personally since I have more athletic built calves and am only 5' 4". Soft butter leather. Flexible sole and very comfortable to wear. Have looked for years for a medium/dark brown boot with a full side zipper and a flatter heel, so was thrilled to find these ... and also get such a good price from an always-good brand.

Nice boots
Very nice made boots, beautiful leather, elegant looking, and comfortable. They are true to size, but I ordered 6.5, which is half size larger than my usually size, so there is some extra space for socks or leggings. I believe I can fit to 6 but still prefer the loose side. The calf and ankle parts are not too narrow, but snug to my legs, like the clean looking. A little pricy, but worth it.
