Silk, and lined. Just needed to shorten straps for my short waist—Staud dress as expected. Washed-out silk look contrasts with bodice— wears super comfy.

gorgeous quality, runs small
I tried this dress on, on a whim because it was on sale. The quality of design, construction and fabric of this simple-looking dress was outstanding. Bodice was just a little too tight for me- I usually wear 14/16 in dresses with 38D bust. Plenty of room in the bust line, just too snug around the ribs. The straps are a bit loose and long, but you don’t need much support with the corseted bodice. Would have loved to keep this but I need to lose some inches. Otherwise extremely flattering if you don’t mind a little discomfort on size if needed.
