Split Neck Cotton Midi Dress

Not really what I expected. It was really small across the chest and rode up under my arms, both qualities I am not fond of. Based on the reviews, I expected it to be more loose fitting. For reference, I’m 5’ 8”, 160, C-cup and I ordered a large. Normally a medium or large fits me fine. Honestly, I think TB quality control is off, so the sizing varies and you never really know what you are going to get. Had I had more time or a store close by, I would have tried to exchange it. I needed the dress for a casual outdoor function that afternoon, so I just went with it. I did remove the tassels because, well, they’re just plain hideous. Without them, the dress is cute and very airy and comfortable. I absolutely love the pockets. Honestly, the dress was ok for what I used it for, but it would be so easy to improve it. Finally, I’m a little concerned how the fabric is going to hold up after washing (shrinkage and piling). I really wish they’d come out with a style like this in a solid prewashed linen, dark navy and black.
