Coastal Tide Sleeveless Dress

This is the second dress like this I have purchased. I have it in Chambray as well. I get so many compliments and it’s very versatile. Dress up or down, with/without belt. It’s been fun changing out accessories for different looks. Great for travel in warmer destinations; however, it’s so cute with different wraps, jackets, and ponchos. It’s a neutral piece, yet stands out on its own. I wear it mostly without the belt, as I am chunky through my middle. I’m 61 and feel sassy and cute when I wear it. I purchased both of mine on sale. I live in Florida and enjoy the light weight fabric; Only draw back is very “linen” thin and see through in certain lighting. Especially the black one, which I returned, as it was full price and fabric not worth 188$. I found the chambray and the bright blue not to be as see through, so a light weight layer that I can add to when needed. I’m 5’5”, 200 lbs and purchased the xl. Generous fit and forgiving.

Pretty style, but poor quality material and very sheer. Also fits a bit small so does not look good on my body type as normal dresses do in this style. Also need to buy a slip for it even though it comes with one. Also bought during end of season sale and is final sale. Now stuck with a dress that I cannot wear.

I purchased this dress in black as the cobalt blue was sold out. I like the style of this dress however it is very plain. In the past Tommy Bahama would have added some interesting details such as silver metal or tassels on the ends of the ties. Maybe some small detailing around the neck. All in all good styling. I will await a print in the spring for vacation.
