Perfect snowy Michigan boot
I’m an avid dog walker at the local pound in Michigan and needed to invest in high quality waterproof boots where I wouldn’t slide walking in and out all day in the snow. These boots have been a godsend. Their grip is perfect and I’m not sliding around with the wet floors. I average 20k steps per day there & my feet feel great at the end of the day. I wear 2 pairs of thin wool socks & there’s plenty of room. True to size. I wasn’t expecting compliments, but I have been receiving compliments daily on them too, which is what reminded me to write the review. These are worth every penny to keep your feet dry in the snow and avoid sliding.

Not waterproof
This shoe did not even last 2 months. Already leaking at the toes. If you want to exchange through Sorel warranty program buyer is responsible for shipping to them.

fits loose , does not grip the foot
No complaints about the thread or the style as those are great . But for a Sorel boot , I was disappointed that even when lacing as tight as I could , it does not really grip the foot. Makes for more of a rain boot feel vs a hiking boot feel. This was not a size issue , more that it is not molded to the foot the was my other Sorel boots are . I returned it

Sorel - great pricing for great boots
Love Sorel so was excited to see these boots. Bought two sizes because I have found that they size drastically different depending upon the style. Ez return at the store for the size that didn’t work for me and kept correct size.

Work as intended but no ankle support
I was on the fence of keeping these, but decided the good outweighed the bad and I was desperate for a shorter winter boot. Everything is great EXCEPT since the upper doesn't contain any "hard" materials, even when lacing as tight as I could, my ankles don't feel fully supported as in a boot with rubber or leather.
