The leather on the boots is not treated, so it scuffs easily. These arrived with scuffs already on them, and the toe box was bent as if someone had already worn them around (indoors, probably testing them out). I wear a size 11 and generally do ok with M width shoes, but I was shocked at how difficult it was to get these boots on. I managed to get my right foot into the boot, but not without struggle - I had to shove my heel down to get it to go past the threshold of the zipper/heel area. It felt very narrow in the toe area. I couldn't even get the left boot on at all. Another thing to note about these boots is that they are not insulated or lined, so I tried these on with a pair of boot socks - not anything too thick, but would at least keep my feet warm in these. Alas, they will be going back to Nordstrom to lie in wait for their next victim. These are very narrow and run small. Such a shame, because they are beautiful boots and have a great sole/tread.
