How to pick your size
I had to order 3 different sizes before finding the right fit. I usually a 9 and my correct size ended up being the 39. I recommend buying the shoes where your toes barely touch the top of the shoe because as you where them your heel will imprint into the sole, which will help secure your feet into the lower portion of the shoe and solve the problem of your toes touching the top. For me, any size larger where my toes didnt originally (slightly) touch the top of the shoe, became to big and bulky as the shoe molded to my foot over time.
Hope this helps! Now that I found my right size and the sole has molded to my foot I am ABSOLUTELY in love with them!! I had where them all day with NO BACK PAIN. Great investment, but also I wish the price was more affordable so more people could benefit from the health benefits of these shoes. ;(

Do not buy
Although beautiful, the boot is poorly designed. Because of the footbed fit which is specific to Birkenstock, allowing some movement of the foot, the shaft rubs against the chin part of leg, leaving bruising and skin-burn like areas even while wearing socks. I cannot see how to avoid this happening so I won’t be wearing any longer. Disappointed is an understatement.
