Faux Fur Lined Slip On (Women)

I'm in home most hours of the day, and do not wear shoes that have been worn outside. I prefer to wear closed in shoes, even for "lounging" due to issues with my feet. The "slip-in" design is really nice for when I change to "inside shoes" after being outside. The style is also nice enough to wear outside, but I use them only for inside. I love them so much that I bought a 2nd pair as a back up for when these wear out!

I bought a pair of Sketchers hands-free slip-on sneakers because I'm having a hip replacement next week and love them and thought easy slippers would be a good idea as well. These chestnut faux fur slippers fit great and are very comfortable but I wasn't ready to feel the cold of the synthetic fur when I put my feet in. The shock is real every time I take them off and then put them on again. They feel actually cold through my socks. They don't warm up much after wearing them awhile either. Normally I wear real sheepskin boots and I know these are plastic/synthetic fibers, but I didn't buy slippers to feel cold. The Sketchers sneakers feel warmer than these. Too late now. I need hands-free slippers asap. They look great, fit great, but are disappointing because they are not warm at all.
