I wore these with linen pants when I went to dinner at a beach resort. They are very comfortable flats while I believe the metalic color elevates the look. The base has some cushion to it.

DO NOT BUY!
Bought these on sale and still annoyed. Thought they were okay, until I wore them for more than an hour today. The straps placement is off. They have made deep red lines in my feet. I ended up taking one of them off before I got home, it was so uncomfortable.
