Daniella Ankle Strap Sandal (Women)

Super cute, stylish, sexy, but with one big caveat: the toe box is tiny. Feels like the toe box on pointe shoes. My feet are neither wide or narrow, yet that toe box was a doozy. I can likely still wear them as is, but I'm certain that I would hate the shoes after 1 wear. The over all width (for me) was fine. The toe box, however, made these shoes a fail.

These shoes are beautiful. I bought them in red. They are just the right height to flex the calf and look beautiful and just low enough to be comfortable. They are secure and hit just right at the toes holding ur foot secure while being sassy. The block heel is soooo in right now and adds to the sturdiness. I wore this for an event and ended up being in them for 8 hours and they were spectacular and received a TON of complements!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! True to size.

SHIPPING: I received the item fairly quickly. They came with another pair of shoes that I ordered. Both pair were wrapped in plastic and not in their original packaging or box. They both arrived safely without harm. (NOTE to Nordstrom: Sam Edelman shoes normally come wrapped in a dust bag. Even if you can’t send the original box considering wrapping them in the original dust bag then put in plastic.) ITEM: Absolutely beautiful. I mean absolutely stunning shoe. I ordered in my favorite color RED! They are faux patented leather candy apple red and I am down right smitten. The ankle strap works as designed. Note it is dainty which may be challenging for some when trying to buckle. SIZE: Here lies my concern. I would say these shoes fit JUST RIGHT or a tad too small. Based on the way they are made a few of my toes look as if they will experience a bit of a hang. I really hate that look honestly I do. But is it right? Or should I go up a size which will offer added room in the front. I just don’t know. I normally go up a size but then it looks too large. I need feedback on sizing. COMFORT: I haven’t worn these yet as I purchased for a wedding in February. What I can share. The area across the toes has little to no stretch which is fine with me but if your feet width falls in the medium to wide range these might not work for you. My feet fall in the medium to narrow range so I can appreciate the fit because it will help avoid my feet from slipping more to the front. Although it is tight around the toes I did not experience any discomfort. MATERIAL: is said to be man made on the inside of the shoe. I typically do not purchase man made items because of the lack of give but in this instance it may work in my favor. The material is thick and has a nice weight to it.
