These run about a size large. If you want them to fit as they do on the model, order your usual size. A size down will provide an amply oversized fit from the hip down while comfortably sitting at the proper place for the specified rise. The description clearly states the inseam and rise, so it's important to know your own preferences when ordering. For me, at 5'6" with average-length legs, these puddle slightly just as I would anticipate. A platform sneaker or small heel will remedy this, but TBH even bare footed they are not hazardously long. The denim is very soft and drapey, and except for a higher rise than I generally prefer, given my short-waistedness, they are nearly pajama like. The back pockets are set a bit wider than I prefer, but it's not a deal breaker. Overall, these are very comfortable and unexpectedly flattering! KEEPING.
