Augusta Sneaker (Women)

I love almost everything about this shoe, except it seems a bit smaller than I expected (in the big toe area). The insole is comfy and has a suggestion of an arch, which is more than other shoes in this style by other brands. Stylish enough to pass for a work shoe and would be perfect for light walks but would not wear it to walk around Europe.

I have many pairs of Paul Green shoes. My only pet peeve is that depending on the style there can be real discrepancies in the size. I find that I have 7.5, 8 and 8.5 sizes in my closet. This pair is amazingly comfortable right out of the box. No socks necessary. The blue is a great color. The zipper just makes them so easy to take on and off.

I absolutely love Paul Green sneakers! These are the perfect retro style and bright white. One issue for me though, maybe not for others, is they ride high on the ankle and the thickness of the shoe in that area creates a rubbing on my left ankle that was creating a sore spot. I am thin and don't have a lot of cushioning in the ankle area so maybe that's why for me. I hate to return them.. but I'm beyond the age of pain for fashion (LOL) Debating.

To be honest, I initially had a hard time paying the relatively high price for these sneakers, but after trying on a dozen other pairs, none compared to these. I have not regretted it! They are amazingly comfortable, and look great with jeans, shorts, even dresses. I love the inside zipper that allows for easy on and off.
