What it is: A clarifying shampoo that won't strip away healthy oils.

Who it's for: Ideal for curly, coily and tight hair textures.

What it does: Enjoy a deep clean and remove buildup with the Cleansing Shampoo. Revive the scalp and give hair a fresh start without stripping away healthy oils. It features an antioxidant-rich matcha green tea, aloe vera and vitamin B5 (panthenol) to promote strong hair. Tracee Ellis Ross picked a fragrance that's clean and not overpowering with notes of jasmine, bergamot and sweet sandalwood.

How to use: Massage the shampoo vigorously into scalp and wet hair to remove buildup and residue. Add more water as needed to work the product through the hair. Rinse thoroughly. If desired wash a second time with PATTERN Hydration Shampoo. Use as desired.

Amazing Shampoo

I use this one first to cut through the build up and then the moisturizing shampoo. It always does the trick and never leaves my hair feeling stripped. I’m in love with the shampoos and conditioners. Not safe for color treated hair! Made my hair fall
Did not state it’s not safe for color treated hair! Now my hair is falling out in clumps and ny scalp is very irritated followed by lot of dandruff. Not happy at all :(

Cleansing shampoo removes the built
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleansing shampoo removes the built up poo (pun intended). Pattern beauty never disappoints, highly recommend the cleansing shampoo for your monthly build up remover. I use moisturizing shampoo weekly and cleansing shampoo when it looks and feels like my curls are in the struggle bus.

Removes products and swimming pool chlorine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mainly use this after swimming with 4c hair. Washing the chlorine out of my hair was a requirement that I had since I was a kid and had followed me into adulthood. This cleansing shampoo also conditions and detangler. Thank you!

Cleansing Shampoo is Primo!
