What it does: Boosted with 10 nourishing oils, the creamy, gentle Hydration Shampoo cleanses curls and scalp and removes buildup and dirt without stripping away moisture. Bathe hair in a moisture-rich formula with ingredients like honey, aloe vera and coconut oil. Founder Tracee Ellis Ross picked a fragrance that's clean and not overpowering with notes of jasmine, bergamot and sweet sandalwood.
How to use: Massage the shampoo vigorously into scalp and wet hair. Add more water as needed to work product through the hair. Rinse thoroughly. Wash a second time as desired. Use as desired.

Didn't work for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping to like this shampoo since my friend raved about how much she loves it, but I don't. I'm a coily girlie who took the online test to determine which products would work best for my tresses, and I purchased this shampoo as a result of the suggestions after reading reviews and the ingredients. This did not work for me at all. I could not detangle my hair as I usually do during the shampoo process with my regular shampoo; not with my denman brush nor my fingers. My hair felt "stripped" after washing and thorougly rinsing. I'm not one that uses a ton of product on my hair, and I keep my routine super simple. I tried on two separate days hoping the 2nd time would be different since it had been about a week since my prior wash, but the result was the same, stripped and tangled. I'm a trained cosmetologist, so this definitely was not user error.

Smooth and easy

LOVE LOVE LOVE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not fall into your target demographic -- however it was suggested I try your products for the menopausal hormonal change of life my hair is going through. Extremely dry damaged and frizzy. My natural wave had lost it's lackluster. I have only used the products 3 times now giving the lightweight conditioner ample application time to help restore moisture. Oh my what a difference I can see within a short amount of time.
THE BODY LOTION is to die for. My tattoos have never looked better or brighter. Love the non greasy formula that soaks so lovely into my skin. No transfer to clothing LOVE IT. Even have used under my eyes. thank you!!!

I use the hydration shampoo

Great product
