Billy High Waist Straight Leg Jeans

These have less stretch than your standard Paige jeans. They are also delightfully high waisted, which means that these will not start slumping around your waist by midday. I bought my first pair in early spring, tossed out all old jeans and bought two more. Super flattering: straight but on narrower side. Note: as a 6ft tall girl, these get the tall girl stamp for proportions. Amazing. Hoping Paige makes these in black. As a typical size 10-12 top and 12-14 bottoms wearer, size 32 was ace.

Tried the 32 my usual size in most denim and the waist couldn’t even be zipped or buttoned. A 34 was available so I tried that. The waist fit perfectly in the bigger size but the upper legs bagged out so much that I thought they had sent me a barrel leg jean instead of a straight leg. Returned them. So I would say the waist runs very small while everything else (legs, hips) run true to size. It’s an odd combination of fit. Nice denim otherwise.
