laces are not silver but gray
I was disappointed that the laces on this shoe are gray and not silver like in the picture. The European sizing is typical for me where I am an 8 in US sizes and a 39 in European, such as the clogs, etc. i would size up if in doubt.

So Cute But Tight!
I ordered my usual size 8.5-9 based on reviews saying they run true. These do not fit true, my toes were all the way to the edge and felt tightly scrunched in the width. When I started walking my foot cramped up. This is my first pair so I don’t know if the leather will stretch out with wear.. but I’m considering returning them for a size larger. Definitely bummed about the sizing issue, but the shoes themselves are super cute! This brand has such fun, unique styles!

Every John sneakers sizing is on point, it has a wider base and beyond comfortable with removable insoles. I own 3 and love them all! The goblin stitching is cute and the pink adds personality!
