I am canceling my Nordstrum credit card. I returned a defective necklace but was denied a refund because the card didn't have a record of the purchase. After an hour at the Sugarhouse store, the online people found the receipt but could NOT transfer the purchase to the store. I left the defective necklace at the store. - and NEVER received a refund of less than $20.
