Pleated Midi Skirt

I used to love Nordstrom brand products. However, I feel like the brand has been decreasing in quality, while staying the same in price, like everything else nowadays. While the front of the skirt is gorgeous, I think an elastic waistband in the back is extremely cheap. It’s clear that this will stretch with wear. Gone are the days of a well-made skirt with a zipper that wouldn’t make the skirt stretch and become misshapen with wear. It’s just really annoying, as this skirt had the makings of a great wardrobe staple. Elastic = me returning, and me looking for where quality and price point intersect elsewhere.

Bought for my daughter for traditional work environment. It's a really pretty skirt with wide inverted pleats in both front and back. Medium weight material gives it a nice body without being too lightweight. Love that it's machine washable , although we have yet to wash it. (Will write an edit if there's a problem). Elasticized back gives it sizing flexibility and comfort. She is a size 4 and she sized down to a XS.
