Surprisingly comfy from the get-go
I hadn't tried or worn Nike sneakers for many years, because they always felt cramped on my relatively big feet. But I liked the look and sale price of these running shoes, so I thought they were worth a try. So, from the moment I put them on, I was pleasantly surprised. Instantly comfortable with or without socks. Nicely cushioned, very supportive. Not quite as well constructed as New Balance or Fila -- both brands I've worn for a long time. But considering the much lower price point, these Nike shoes are quite the bargain.

Stylish and comfortable
My new Downshifter Nikes felt comfy and improves greatly over my old Nike pair. Since I jog daily in my exercise routine, it felt rather comfortable and I feel lighter while running. I recommend it.
